"Love Story" is the second and final single from Katharine McPhee's eponymous debut album. The R&B song was written by Nate "Danja" Hills, Kara DioGuardi and Jean Hermanowski. The song was chosen as the second single for the album instead of "Open Toes". The single was released on May 22, 2007, in the United States. ==Music video== The video begins with McPhee singing in a gold minidress with a band and some backup singers. As the song progresses, she is seen at a birthday party staring at a man and also partying with her best friends. In the second verse, she wears a revealing suit and crawls on the table, next to the man at the bridge. However viewers realize that McPhee is dreaming when she is snapped out of her daydream by a friend. McPhee then meets the guy in a corridor. She pulls the man into the cleaning supplies closet and the two embrace and kiss. There is a cameo appearance from the Topmodel Jean-Pascal Hermanowski.
